Semi Finals

CEA vs KMEA
The first semi finals kicked off with Adoor and KMEA. Within the first few minutes CEA managed to score a wonderful goal and took the lead 1-0.
Now this was a let down for KMEA. Though there were no more goals by CEA the match fell into place for them. CEA assured there place in the finals .

MEC A vs FISAT
It was an interesting match, that should be said. FISAT soon scored a goal which sent panic around the crowd and the players. Will this be a problem? Will MEC A loose here in the semis?? But the MECians are known for their comeback. The match became more intense in the field and outside. Some fiasco happened within the crowd but due to the timely intervention of the El Juego committee members like Joju, Abheesh and Bucket the problem was solved.
And the intense match entered into penalty shootouts as MEC A scored a goal in injury time. The rigorous penalty shootout session was won by MEC A as they are known for penalty shootouts.

Today FINALS.... MEC A ans CEA
Dont miss this clash of the Titans.

24/02/2010

We had two spectacular matches yesterday. The first one, TKM vs Adoor began at around 5 in the evening. The guest for the match was our dearest Sports Secretary Riyaz.
Match was a little dry in the beginning. There were very few shorts on target and both the teams failed to convert a lot of opportunities. During the 2nd half Adoor managed to score a goal and bring the match into an exciting phase. After the goal the game took pace but it resulted in the victory of Adoor.

The second match was between the 'Thantra Shaaliyum Soothrashaliyum' MEC A team and Chenganoor. The MEC A team got a grand welcome by the spectators and the match began. The guest was Mr. India 2006-07.
The match kicked off. It was interesting from the beginning. There were a few rash play here and there. 1st half was futile for both the teams. It was 10 mins into the second half Amal Das of MEC A team chipped a beautiful goal and brought safety for MEC A. A little while later swift Jeril also managed to secure a goal for the home team and secured their victory. The crowd was in all awe for the team.

We also had a few Half time events yesterday. It was penalty shoot outs for the ladies. VRK (Tungu) was the Goal Keeper for it. Three Ladies tried their luck, Faseela, Lakshmi MA and Nyla but only Faseela managed to score a goal and won a food coupon at Oberon Mall.
